Virginia Lopez, RDH, BS

Virginia has over 20 years of experience in the dental profession as a chairside dental assistant, registered dental hygienist, adjunct didactic dental assistant instructor, continuing education program developer, and administrator of professional seminars. She has been a speaker of various continuing education courses for over 10 years and a practicing dental hygienist of 17 years. Virginia is an active member of the OSAP organization; therefore she keeps current on all infection control guidelines and recommendations. Her subtle sense of humor and friendly disposition keeps her audiences comfortable and entertained.

Hillel D. Ephros, DMD, MD

Dr. Ephros was certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1988 and since 2003, has served as a member of the examination committee for the Board. He is now Professor and Chairman of the Department of Dentistry & Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at Seton Hall University School of Graduate Medical Education; and Chairman of the Department of Dentistry at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, where he also directs the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Training Program and serves as Medical Director of the Regional Craniofacial Center. He also holds adjunct appointments in the Departments of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Columbia University and UMDNJ. He has published in the scientific literature, authored textbook chapters and received awards for teaching. He is also a member of the oral cancer work-group of the NJ Governor’s task force on the prevention and control of cancer and served as Chairman of the Oral Cancer Consortium in 2003-2004.

Jodi R. Godfrey, MS. RD

Ms. Godfrey is a registered dietitian and an accomplished writer with 25 years of experience promoting health and wellness. She has a certificate of advanced training in child and adolescent weight management from the American Dietetic Association. She earned a master's degree in wellness communication from Boston University of New Hampshire and completed a dietetic training internship at the renowned Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, MA. Ms. Godfrey is the contributing editor to the Journal of Women's Health and is a consulting editor to the Childhood Obesity Journal in addition to hosting the blog, Feeding Kids and You. Her articles have appeared in newsletters including: the Cornell-Weill Food and Fitness Advisor, Environmental Nutrition, C. Everett Koop Health Letter and P & S Journal in Columbia University's medical school.

Gail Malone, RDH, BS

Ms. Malone is a Clinical Educator for DENTSPLY Professional serving the Northeast Region of the US. She received her dental hygiene degree from Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell, PA and completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA, where she servedas an adjunct faculty. Ms Malone's experience of more than 25 years in dentistry includes clinical practice, dental hytiene education, dental practice management and dental distribution. Ms. Malone has lectured on various courses for over 15 years and has authored articles in dental journals.

David B. Clark, BSc, DDS, MSc(Oral Pathology), FRCDC

Dr. Clark is Clinical Director of Dental Services at Whitby Mental Health Centre in Shitby, Ontario, Canada and is an Associate in Clinical Dentistry, Department of Oral Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto. His hospital-based practice is devoted primarily to the general dental care of individuals undergoing primary care for various forms of psychiatric illness often co-existing with other medically compromising conditions. He also participates in the teaching of the undergraduate dental curriculum relating to topics of Oral Medicine and Oral Diagnosis at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto. Dr. Clark has lectured internationally since 2005 and has authored in many dental journals and publications.
